An ongoing kintsugi class for people who have already taken a class with me and want to keep working.
Come when you can, work at your own pace, and get guidance on whatever stage your piece is at.
Urushi takes time. Each layer has to cure before the next one goes on, so real repair work happens across weeks, not in a single afternoon.
Open to anyone who has completed Traditional Kintsugi Foundation Course.
If you have learned kintsugi elsewhere, please get in touch before signing up.
Basic materials and tools are provided and included in the fee, along with curing space in the studio's muro between visits.
Metal powders (gold, brass, etc.) are available for an additional charge based on use.
Please bring your own pieces to work on.
*Urushi can cause an allergic skin reaction. A signed waiver is required before the first session.
